there ain't no reason why you and me should be alone tonight

I admit I have been incredibly lazy.... quite a lot of stuff has happened since last time I updated... not getting jobs... working too much/taking on too much >_< and just general social-ness. And, just the sheer overwhelmingness of sorting through the photos and "screening" them and deciding which ones I want to upload here.. not sure if I do want to upload group pics or pics with my friends in them soo yeah, that doesn't really leave much. But I have found some. Most of them are up on Facebook if you're friends with me there. It was quite an amazing trip even though I've already been there... I guess I didn't really do much the last time that I was there... cos of being poor. :\ Taupo pics will come sometime this week! Below is what I've been up to the past few weeks...

Oh yes! I have been watching Glee! OMG! I didn't know what I've been missing! My favourite song so far that I have been listening to for quite a few times a day is this (It's My Life/Confessions mashup by the guys -- haha love the video, they're like so hyped up and happy,  love it! <3) and this (Halo/Walking on Sunshine mashup by the guys... they all look soo sunny, I love their outfits! Esp the headbands haha), the second one's not the best quality but it's alright. I need to find a discussion forum on Glee! Quite a few things I wanna discuss! >_<

Anyways, the past week or two (or three?) in photos....

Pop Tarts! I got them at Sweet As in Taupo :) || Dress I got for a 70's party that I attended last Friday... it fits me ! I ♥ Pagani! 

 

Katy Perry Shatter nail polish! I bought it, but this was done with my friend's (P) one... || Another dress I bought, this time at Glassons. I like glassons at times. When they have size 6's! ♥

Little projects I worked on for an upcoming site (that's just a secondary reason) and also because they're great little innovative solutions! A earring holder (studs and stuff... gotta work out a way for dangling ones....) and headband holder. This is my second attempt at the headband holder.. you really gotta find the thickest one to ensure that all headbands will stay where they're meant to stay and not slide down although that makes me wonder, will it stretch it and permanently stay that way...?

 

Movenpick Pear and Ginger Pudding! ♥ Sooo GOOOD!! Went there after my friend, Tanya's "see you later" dinner ||  and the toy I got in my Kinder Surprise today. Finally got what I want! ^^ 

Spending Like It's Going Out of Fashion

Since getting paid last week. I have been spending like there's no tomorrow... >_< I think since pay day, I've bought:

• Dress from Pagani ($40)
  
• L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine 6 hour lip gloss ($28)
• Mink Feel Blanket and 2x pillows from Warehouse - cos I forgot  blanket+pillow when going down to Hamilton.. ($37.98 - $8 for pillow)  
• Car charger ($8.90 + shipping) ~ not really a big spend..
• HP Multifunction Printer ($56)
• Coat hangers, hand towels and a pair of pink flats from Warehouse($18) 

I will post up pictures hopefully sometime this week. 

Last weekend was a pretty sweet weekend with friends. I went down to Hamilton for work and three of my friends spontaneously and randomly decided to come down and visit me, pretty much lol. This was the night that I realized that there isn't much to do in Hamilton... it was a fun night. Ended up eating leftover chocolate custard in the car with bananas. It's really nice. I really do like Fairtrade bananas! I also ended up selling out of all the stock that was in the store over 2 days, that was meant to be for 3 days? It was great.

Went back up to Auckland on Saturday night since I sold out of the stock and so couldn't work the next day and saw friends again, ended up going on a random mini road trip to Matakana. There's nothing there. But we just ended up going to Orewa beach. Good random times!

Lastly, Sunday night, dinner with friends at a Chinese restaurant after work followed by Hulu Cat - pearl milk tea. Good end to the night :)

Sadly, don't have any photos.. but I think it's pretty much summed up. Ah, start of a new month soon! How the first six months went by so, incredibly fast! Where did it all go? I still haven't found a job, I'm thinking going to try harder this month onwards and actually look everyday or couple of days... wish me luck. I applied for a job at my current work, something more, a step up from what I do now, kinda.

New Glasses

I got my new glasses that I ordered from Clearly Contacts sometime last week during Easter holidays. They're amazing! I love them and I think they really suit me. Even better than my currrent ones! Absolute love!!

Let me know what you think. Oh, I also got them for free pretty much! Only had to pay for shipping. You should definitely follow them on Facebook and take advantage of when they next offer it! So far, they've done it twice since I've started following them. =)

Lately, also been watching movies and drinking hot chocolates daily! Love the hot choc I made yesterday! me

Oh yes and while I'm updating... my monthly finances round-up. It's awful. I need to stop spending more than I earn! I have spent $744.63 over what I earn! D:

Soo... after being on TV.com and reading episode synopsis', I discovered that the second season of Gossip Girl and 90210 were. not. finished! :o

Oh I am so innocent... naive or well, stupid to believe that it was the end... hmmm...

On another note, I really enjoyed 27 Dresses. It was a really good movie that I really enjoyed~ ^^

Another movie that I enjoyed was Twilight... I didn't have much expectations of it coz I hadn't read any of the Twilight books or really knew much of it other than it was a story about Vampires.. but when I was overseas, I suggested it to my cousin and she looked it up and we watched it... I think she really liked the storyline.. but yeah, I liked it and thought it was just my kind of movie~ haha..

So, yeah now I own Gossip Girl S2.... uncomplete..... =| Oh well, what's done is done.. I'm sure I'm not the first to have done this... maybe...

Forever21, Handi-ness and Boots! :)

 Yeah that quote isn't exactly "moving" or like "insightful" but it's something that I probably will never find out.. oh well. Anyways....

Forever21.com - damn that site is like sooo cheap but postage is sooo expensive! Pretty much probably have to buy like 25 items just to make shipping worth it! We'll see when I have money again.... whenever that is >_>

But yes, there are some dresses and tops that I would love to add to my collection of clothing in which most of them I don't wear.. I need to throw out sell the clothes I don't wear but (some.) that I love and can't bear to part with.. T_T

One of my previous entries, I mentioned stuff that I wouldn't mind getting and in which I would get myself if I didn't get it hahaha.. well. My wishlist is complete haha.. air tickets to HK are nearly sorted and booked :) [although I have to fly back bout like two days earlier than my family coz of work... like 4 hours/2 days! Oh well.. least I didn't have to like miss out weeks of stuff! =) And this is just two days.. or really one because of the time differences..], remembered this notebook that I had that I said I was going to use to document my time in HK/China aaand yeah got my writing utensilies thanks to Mish! Lol XD (yeah, I'm weird, lol), but hey, saves me like $20 on getting it :P

During this holiday....  I am kind of hoping to learn how to make WP layouts (since I have like millions of time on my hands anyway!) and well.... it could happen... it may not. I'm not sure... depends on my motivation levels and if I do so, then will have to get hosting which I might like just use 100webspace ooor 110mb... we'll see.

Oooh and yes, yesterday I went shopping with my sister for boots on my mum's request (I didn't click on the reason till like much later during the shopping trip.. =_=) coz of the many walking we will be doing while in HK/China and yeah, they're great! I wanna get these other pairs too! I still like my Westfield vouchers from my birthday... thanks again sooo much for them!! Was saving them for the New Year's and/or Boxing Day sales lol... (don't look at me like that! I'll be able to get more stuff at that time! Yeah, that's possible~!) But, yes, the boots which I quite love and it was only $30! :D

I also wanna get a hairdryer and umm... handbag(s) from Farmers! They're like $40 each! D:

One day.... I will be in credit again.. =)

YAYYYYY!!!! My overdraft is going down! I am sooo happy. This end of year and actaully SEMESTER has actually been pretty great! Greatness all around... and now that just sounds cheesy, lol. >.<

Overdraft = now $116! YUS! :D

The next couple of weeks is going to be quite good too... well the next week anyways...

1. Getting exams back... fingers crossed I passed! ><
2. Some plans with Chinese Class (LOL, yes, we're that tight haha XD)
3. Getting paid... haha... and equals overdraft disappearing! Also my last allowance payment~ :(
4. Friends (finally) coming to visit me!

Well.. the last one is actually this week but nonetheless, I'll count them as like next week lol... OOoh and HEROES! Coming back. OMG! It is sooo goood!!! >_< But so very whyyy and wtf as well.

Ohhh and like today also like got reconnected with an old friend on FB! Facebook is great! Lol. That's now like two people finding me in a FB group lol... (the primary school I went to~)

Soo yeah, life has never been so great! :D I'm very happy. And ooohhh of course CHINA AND HK! YUS!! HAPPY! LIKE OMG!

Sooo pretty much there is quite a few things that I am looking forward that's coming up in the next month... like:

1. CHINA/HK! LIKE OH YEAH AND OMG!!!! YUS~ ^_^
2. My friend, Chloe's birthday dinner... birthdays  are always nice and good time to catch up! =)
3. Working! Yes... lol... I found out that I will be working till the week before I leave for China/HK! ^.^
4. And the above stuff, exam handback plans, etc etc.

I am like pretty happy and satisfied with life atm. :) And exaaaaams have finsihed! Yus! Finally!

Though one thing that hasn't really like "lifted off" is that NZ site... I'm too lazy to like tend to it... emailed a few sites in the hopes of a exchange but yeah... I dunno. I think I need more help. Heh.

Oooh and of course not like forgetting my little outing today, lol! It was actually quite interesting~ Like I stumbled onto this guy on Vulcan Lane, I think like doing this awesome and soo original painting! Sucks that I was like 30c short of $2 to try and get one through the raffle he was doing! :( The art was like soo great! Pretty great~ It's like apparently this technique from South Africa and like next to no one other than he does it!? It's pretty awesome! :)

Also, this guy was busking..



And I believe that is about all! Satisfication. ♥

Oh and am also planning a few stuff before the end of the year/before I leave... presents... gotta go shopping for a secret santa present on Snark and also for some other people. =) Might leave some till I actually have money!~ But would like the snark secret santa to be like sent out soonish... since it's gotta be sent overseas~
